Frequently asked questions.
How do I get the goods?
You can order pickup on this site. Location is northwest Fort Collins at the corner of West Lake St and Fleetwood Court. You can also find me in person at the Laporte Farmers market, every Sunday from 9-1pm! However, be aware that your favorites might sell out.
Starting in July there will be a self-pay farm stand where you can grab what is available as you roll by on your bike or on your walk. However, any order requiring refrigeration or larger orders such as a full 9” cake will need to be placed at least 72 hours in advance.
What does “European-style” cake mean?
European-style cakes simply mean I focus on butter, cream, and other natural goodness in lieu of super sugary sweets, such as American confections you might find in a supermarket. European-style also means I focus on simple, high-quality ingredients that are readily recognized and that I avoid artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives whenever possible.
What do your serving sizes mean?
Most of my treats come in a smaller, 2 to 4-ish bite size. I sell them in sets of two so that you get the perfectly satisfying amount of small-bite bliss, and also your money’s worth! You can also share one with a friend (or save one for later! All of my items freeze well).
Do you offer catering or bulk ordering?
Abso-freakin-loutly: everything from corporate events, to birthdays, galas, and big weddings! Drop me a note here. I’d be honored to help make your day extra special.
Do you take special requests?
Special requests are the BEST. Yes. Please send them my way. Nothing brings me more joy than pulling off something crazy, or just exceeding someone’s expectations for a dream they have.
What about gluten free? Can you accommodate common allergies like nuts, dairy, etc?
Yes! Just because you’re GF, DF, and/or vegan doesn’t mean you should sacrifice taste or quality. Most of my items are easy to make gluten free by swapping out the flour (though I should note, I am a cottage baker so my baked goods are not considered safe for those with celiac disease). Vegan and dairy free options are also available, please reach out!
What does “bonnie beinn” mean?
“Bonnie beinn” translates to “beautiful mountain” in Scots Gaelic. It’s an homage to the gorgeous Northern Colorado area, as well as a tribute to my Scottish ancestry.
